Part 3 Training
The third - and final - part of the Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) qualifying examination will assess your ability to give effective instruction.
To stand the best chance of passing, you'll need to be thoroughly prepared. You have only three attempts, which means good preparation is essential.
The 'ability to instruct' test covers three main key subject areas:
- core competencies
- instructional techniques
- instructor characteristics
During our training we will teach you how to teach using the DSA syllabus. You will be provided with ample training aids and literature to help learn as easily and as quickly as you can. All our training will carried out on a one to one basis and you will also have the opportunity to sit in the back of real driving lessons in order to give you valuable experience. If you require, during your part 3 training you will be able to apply for a trainee licence and then you will be able to take lessons yourself and start earning money. All training can be taken in our cars or you can take it in your own car. Please call now for an information pack or if you would like to come in for a chat to find out more.
